September 8, 2012 - Free admission to the Alameda Writers Group seminar in Glendale today

The Alameda Writers Group has an excellent seminar happening today in Glendale for all aspiring Hollywood writers!  You'll be able to ask questions and get free advice from people who have made it in the business and can guide you in the right direction.  Writer, producer, director, composer and author Marc Cushman will be hosting the event.  Guest speakers include:

• Writer and producer Jim Leonard who has written and producer Dexter, The Closer, Cracker and plenty of other television shows.

• Writer, director and producer Shawn Tolleson will tell you everything you need to know from A to Z.  How to avoid the scam artists and get legitimate representation.  How to speak to executives, producers and directors and get them to listen.  Plus everything else you need to know in order to succeed.

This free event is taking place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Glendale Central Library in the Upstairs Auditorium.  The Glendale Central Library is located at 222 E.
