November 8, 2012 - Lincoln premieres at Grauman's Chinese Theatre tonight

The AFI FEST closes tonight with the premiere of the highly anticipated movie Lincoln at Grauman's Chinese Theatre tonight!  Stars from the movie (Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Strathairn, James Spader, Tommy Lee Jones and other cast members) and director Steven Spielberg are all scheduled to start walking the red carpet at 6:00 p.m.  If you're planning on attending for celebrity spotting, I highly recommend arriving early.

The AFI FEST have been offering free tickets to their screenings and premieres all week long.  Not saying that will be the case here, but it might be worth your while to stop by and see if they're available.

November 4, 2012 -Rise of the Guardians premieres today in Hollywood

The AFI FEST continues tonight with the premiere of  Rise of the Guardians at Grauman's Chinese Theatre today!  Voice talent from the movie (Chris Pine, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Dakota Goyo, Isla Fisher, Jude Law and others) and filmmakers are all scheduled to start walking the red carpet at 3:00 p.m.  If you're planning on attending for celebrity spotting, I highly recommend arriving early.

***Update***  I've heard from a few that Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jessica Biel, Scarlett Johansson and Dame Helen Mirren won't be attending tonight due to scheduling conflicts.  I haven't seen a press release on who is attending, but assumed the stars would be in attendance.  Guess we'll all have to wait and see who shows up.  Sorry for any inconvenience to anyone planning on attending.
