Writer/producer/director Gary Ross (The Hunger Games, Seabiscuit, Big and many others) is stopping by Barnes & Noble at The Grove to sign his new book Bartholomew Biddle and the Very Big Wind at 2:00 PM!
 
This is a wristbanded event, so you'll want to buy the book once the doors at Barnes & Noble open at 9:00 AM to ensure getting your book signed when  Gary Ross arrives at 2:00 PM.  If you can't be at Barnes & Noble when they open, please call and make sure wristbands are still available before you head over.

August 20, 2012 - The Hunger Games cast and Ricki Lake are stopping by The Grove today

Another day filled with celebrities stopping by The Grove to meet fans and do interviews with Extra!  The interviews will be taking place next to the Pacific Theatres at The Grove.  The schedule for the day includes the following:

• Cast members from The Hunger Games are scheduled to arrive at 11:00 a.m. to discuss the movie being released DVD and Blu-ray.  They will also be handing out copies of the movie to a few lucky fans.

•  Actress Ricki Lake is scheduled to arrive at 2:30 p.m. to discuss the return of her talk show.

Disclaimer:  I enjoy posting these celebrity appearances at The Grove, however, lately I've seriously considered not posting them any longer.  Extra often tweets or posts these appearances on their website, people show up (sometimes driving hours), only to find out the celebrity was rescheduled or they decided to make it a private interview at the last minute.  This often results in a headache for the fans and I.

Most of the time Extra doesn't update their website to mention the appearances being changed on Twitter.  The rare times Extra has mentioned a schedule change, I haven't been online to make mention of it.  So many times I get online to find messages from disappointed fans showing up at these appearances.

For now, I'll continue posting these appearances.  I'd strongly caution anyone planning on attending and ask that they double check by calling (323) 900-8080 before wasting their time driving over for nothing.

Cast members from The Hunger Games will be signing Barnes & Noble purchased items at The Grove tonight at 6:00 PM.  This is a wristbanded event, so if you want your Hunger Games book, NOOK book or soundtrack signed you're going to want to be at the store early to make your purchase.  Barnes & Noble opens at 9:00 AM, with a limited amount of wristbands and a big crowd expected.  If you can't be there when the store opens, call the number below to make sure wristbands are still available before you head down.

March 12, 2012 - The Hunger Games premiere streams LIVE at 5:30 p.m.

The premiere of The Hunger Games will be streaming live from the Nokia Theatre at L.A. LIVE starting at 5:30 p.m. pacific standard time!  I posted this Yahoo! link in the premiere thread, but want to make sure everyone can find it.

March 12, 2012 - The Hunger Games premieres tonight at L.A. LIVE

The Hunger Games premieres tonight starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson!  All the stars listed, as well as others in the movie and the filmmakers are all scheduled to start walking the black carpet at 5:30 p.m.  People are camping out overnight in hopes of getting tickets to the premiere (rumor has it some tickets might be distributed before 6:00 a.m.).
